Feyza has her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Genetics and Bioengineering, at İstanbul University (Turkey). Her background includes enzymes and protein engineering of industrial enzymes for biotechnological applications. During her undergraduate, she received a Scholarship throughout a year (TUBITAK 2209: National Research Project Support for Undergraduate Students) for her project and then Feyza has studied her Msc with Dr. Gönül Schara’s Protein Engineering group as Project Assistant of an European Union/ Marie Curie Research Fellowship Project. She also has experiences abroad through ERASMUS Internship program, she visited Aarhus University (Denmark) and learned about protein-protein interaction techniques using yeast two-hybrid system. She stand strongly that the Photobiocat is a perfect project to establish herself in science.
In her free time, she likes outdoor activities such as Hiking and Camping. One of her exciting hobbies is Archery. She wants to be expert especially on traditional archery.
